Probe Into Alleged Libyan Plot Nears End

Saudi Arabia is close to concluding an investigation into an alleged Libyan plot to assassinate the kingdom’s de facto ruler, Crown Prince Abdullah, the interior minister said.
In December, Saudi Arabia recalled its ambassador to Tripoli and expelled Libya’s envoy over what Saudi officials called an “atrocious” plot to kill Abdullah in 2003. Tripoli denied involvement in any such plot.
The minister did not say whether suspects would be tried.
