* The video games unit of Vivendi Universal acquired game developer Radical Entertainment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

* ChoicePoint Inc., which sells consumer data and recently acknowledged a major security breach, raised its top executive’s bonus to $1.8 million last year from $1.5 million in 2003, according to a regulatory filing. The compensation of Chairman and Chief Executive Derek Smith also included a salary of $1.04 million, compared with $1 million for 2003.

* MGM Mirage’s planned takeover of Mandalay Resort Group has been delayed so that the deal can be reviewed in Illinois, where Mandalay operates a riverboat casino. The transaction, previously expected to close in the first quarter, is now expected to be completed in the second quarter, the Las Vegas-based companies said.
