Journalist Shot by U.S. Troops Leaves Hospital

A journalist accidentally shot by U.S. troops March 4 after she was freed by kidnappers in Iraq has been released from the Rome hospital where she was treated for a shoulder wound.
Giuliana Sgrena from the newspaper Il Manifesto had two operations. The gunfire killed Nicola Calipari, an Italian security agent traveling with Sgrena; another agent driving the car was injured.
