More “Blade”: Spike TV has ordered a pilot based on the series of “Blade” movies that starred Wesley Snipes as the half-human, half-vampire hunter of the undead. It will air as a TV movie next year.

Weenie Roast: The Killers, Jimmy Eat World, Audioslave, Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age are among the 15 acts that will play the 13th annual KROQ Weenie Roast, May 21 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale next Saturday for the show, whose lineup also includes Alkaline Trio, Bloc Party, the Bravery and Interpol.

Speaking out: In response to allegations that she had an affair with a contestant on “American Idol” in 2003, Paula Abdul issued a statement Friday saying she would neither “dignify salacious or false accusations” nor respond “to lies, no matter how vicious, no matter how hurtful.” A spokesman for Abdul, Shawn Sachs, said he could not clarify what “lies” Abdul was referring to in her statement.
