Pedestrian Struck, Killed Crossing an Intersection

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed early Thursday as he crossed an intersection.
The man’s identity was withheld pending notification of relatives. He was at Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. when he was hit, according to police.
The motorist who hit him was driving about 40 mph and was not injured.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
