King Fahd, in Hospital, Said to Be Improving

Saudi King Fahd’s condition is “stable and reassuring,” his half brother, Crown Prince Abdullah, told the official Saudi Press Agency, three days after the monarch was hospitalized.
Interior Minister Prince Nayif ibn Abdulaziz was quoted by as saying, “Thank God, his health is improving continuously.”
Chest X-rays showed the king, believed to be 82, was recovering from pneumonia, a hospital official said. Fahd’s temperature had returned to normal, though he remained in intensive care, the official added.
