From Times Wire Reports

Assailants apparently fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a U.S. military helicopter ferrying relief supplies to quake victims in Pakistan’s portion of divided Kashmir, the U.S. military said.

No one was hurt in the incident in Chakothi, near the Line of Control that separates the Pakistani and Indian portions of the Himalayan region, said Capt. Rob Newell, a U.S. spokesman.

Pakistani army Maj. Gen. Shaukat Sultan said he doubted that such an attack took place, noting that engineers were setting off explosions to clear a road near where the copter was flying.
