Ex-Deputy Pleads Guilty in Child-Porn Case
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A former Fresno County sheriff’s deputy has pleaded guilty to possessing at least 600 images of child pornography.
Neil Edmiston, 34, entered the plea Monday in federal court, hoping the admission would get him a reduced prison sentence.
Prosecutors recommended a three-year term as part of the plea deal, but a judge could give him up to 10 years.
Edmiston was arrested last year.
