Focus Features’ “Pride & Prejudice,” the first feature film adaptation in 65 years of Jane Austen’s novel, made it into the top 10 with $2.9 million in just 215 theaters, posting the best per-theater business in that group, playing in only a fraction of the locations of its nearest dollars-per-venue competitor, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’. “

Among more limited releases, Roadside Attractions’ “Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic” opened in seven theaters, averaging $17,782 per location.
