Doctor Convicted of Abusing Female Patient

A doctor has been convicted of sexually abusing a woman, 22, who went to him in 2003 for treatment of anxiety and depression. A Superior Court jury found Nasser Alavi, 60, guilty Tuesday of one count of sexual penetration with a foreign object and six counts of sexual battery.
