Verizon Names Killian to Run MCI Businesses

Verizon Communications Inc. said John Killian would replace Michael Capellas as head of the MCI Inc. businesses once the combination of the companies was complete.
Killian will be president of the combined MCI and Verizon Enterprise Solutions Group, selling telephone services to government and business customers, New York-based Verizon said.
Capellas will remain MCI’s chief executive until Verizon’s $8.44-billion acquisition is complete.
