Voters aren’t dumb

Share

I disagree with the quote by Elizabeth Garrett (“Shell Games Hide Sources of Donations,” Oct. 23) that “only when you know who is behind an initiative and how much they’re spending can you competently vote.”

I read the language of the ballot initiative, the summary by the analyst and various newspaper articles. While it may be helpful to know who financed the initiative, I believe I can still “competently” vote without that information.
