London Might Be an Inspiration to Others

With no disrespect to Maurice Drew, UCLA linebacker Justin London’s comment that Drew is “the most complete back we’ll face this season, period” confirms what most Bruin fans have known since the end of last season -- that the Bruin defense doesn’t plan on showing up for at least two games this season, Oklahoma and USC.

Giving guys like Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush and LenDale White bulletin-board material is always smart. I suppose for London that it wasn’t bad enough to see Bush dancing all over the Rose Bowl turf last December against a Bruin defense that had three weeks to prepare. I wonder what Peterson will do with a little extra motivation against a defense that will be tried and tested against that offensive juggernaut, San Diego State.
