Update -- The third-place Galaxy is 12 points behind the first-place San Jose Earthquakes with six games to play. Overtaking second-place FC Dallas (one point ahead) would mean home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Colorado, in fourth place and all but certain of making the playoffs, is only four points behind the Galaxy and a win or tie tonight will give the Rapids the season series for the first time.
