Johnson Helps Wizards to Win

Eddie Johnson scored in his first game with Kansas City, leading the Wizards to a 3-1 victory in a Major League Soccer opener Saturday night at Kansas City, Mo.
Johnson’s goal came in the 61st minute and gave Kansas City a 3-1 lead. The Wizards acquired Johnson from FC Dallas in February.
FC Dallas 3, Chicago 2 -- Kenny Cooper’s first MLS goal gave host Dallas the victory.
Cooper angled in a header from the top of the goalie’s box. Bobby Rhine set up the score when he crossed a pass from the right flank to Cooper.
