Teen Girl Who Escaped From Custody Is Found
Los Angeles County authorities have captured one of two teenage girls who escaped from Probation Department custody while having tattoos removed last week, officials said Monday.
The escapes came after two boys also ran from a probation camp last week and four gang members broke out of a San Fernando Valley juvenile hall the week before.
Four of the eight escapees -- the other teenage girl and three of the inmates from Barry J. Nidorf Juvenile Hall -- remained at large, Probation Department spokeswoman Anita Vigil said.
