Bixby Land Names William Halford as CEO

Bixby Land Co., a Long Beach commercial real estate developer and landlord, named former Irvine Co. executive William Halford president and chief executive.

Halford, 46, replaced Terrance Dickens, 61, who retired after nine years in charge. Halford recently left Irvine Co., where he was president of office and industrial properties.

Privately held Bixby Land dates to an 1896 agricultural subdivision of the Rancho Los Alamitos Spanish land grant.

Bixby owns and manages 70 shopping centers, industrial buildings and offices in Southern California.
