Avengers Defeated by Brigade

Chris Sanders threw seven touchdown passes -- five to Aaron Boone -- to help the Kansas City Brigade beat the Avengers, 62-45, at Kansas City, Mo.

Sanders completed 26 of 32 passes for 265 yards for the Brigade (2-9).

Sonny Cumbie threw six touchdown passes for the Avengers (3-8).

Philadelphia 56, Chicago 55 -- Eddie Moten intercepted Matt D’Orazio’s two-point conversion attempt in overtime to give the host Soul (6-5) a victory over the Rush (4-7).

Dallas 46, New York 28 -- Clint Dolezel threw four touchdown passes to lead the Desperados (9-2) over the Dragons (6-5) at Uniondale, N.Y.

The Desperados posted the second first-half shutout in Arena Football League history, taking a 25-0 lead into halftime.

Nashville 58, Las Vegas 44 -- Clint Stoerner threw three touchdown passes and Frank Carter ran for two scores in the Kats’ victory over the Gladiators at Las Vegas.

The Kats are 7-4, the Gladiators 5-6.

Orlando 39, Columbus 36 -- Joe Hamilton threw three touchdown passes to lead the Predators (7-4) over the Destroyers (5-6) at Columbus, Ohio.

Georgia 61, Austin 29 -- Matt Nagy threw three touchdown passes and ran for two scores to help the Force (7-4) beat the Wranglers (7-4) at Austin, Texas.
