at Chicago 6, Pittsburgh 1: Ronny Cedeno hit a three-run homer, and Rich Hill had a career-high nine strikeouts in seven innings, giving up one run and five hits.
at San Francisco 6, Colorado 2: Matt Cain had a career-high 12 strikeouts in seven innings, and Pedro Feliz drove in two runs for the Giants, who won for the second time in 13 games.
