It’s Not a Field Day for Soccer Fans

What a great day it was with 93,000 fans in the Coliseum to see Chivas Guadalajara play FC Barcelona in a friendly soccer match. But the house was an embarrassment. The local park has a nicer soccer field.
It is hard enough to get teams of this caliber to come to Los Angeles; the least we could do is have a field worth playing on.
