Suspect in JonBenet Case Landing in L.A. Tonight
John Mark Karr, 41, a suspect in the death a decade ago of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, was scheduled to depart Bangkok, Thailand, on a Thai Airways flight and arrive in Los Angeles this evening.
Officials did not say when or where he would continue to Boulder, where he faces charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual assault.
After his arrest Wednesday in Thailand, Karr said he was with the child when she died. Her body was found in the basement of her family’s home on Dec. 26, 1996.
Authorities are continuing to investigate Karr’s statements.
