SEC to Begin Probe of KB Home’s Options

The Securities and Exchange Commission will start an informal probe of KB Home Corp.’s stock-option practices, the Westwood-based home builder said Thursday.
The inquiry follows the company’s disclosure this week that it is conducting an internal review.
KB Home announced the inquiry after the close of regular trading, where its shares added 65 cents to $41.18.
