Tomlinson’s vision unmatched

Share

Something of a national consensus is building on the proposition that LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers is the finest and most effective ballcarrier in the NFL. A straight-ahead runner, he doesn’t bob and weave like others do.

Rather, Tomlinson’s vision seems to be the quality that makes him what he is. Carrying a football, he has the rare ability to instantly find the right hole and slam into it.

This skill has taken him to the top of his unique profession. As he moves into Seattle this week for the Chargers’ game against the NFC West-leading Seahawks, Tomlinson is coming off a 199-yard day when, in 25 carries, he incredibly averaged eight yards.
