* A man in Britain is sweetening the deal for would-be buyers of his town house in Durham, in northern England: The buyer also will get his red Ferrari 355F1. The 1998 car, which has 14,500 miles on it, is valued at about $89,000, according to its owner. He wants at least $655,000 for the three-story, four-bedroom town house, and he says he’s throwing in the car to speed the deal.
* Toyota Housing Services, a unit of the Japanese car company, has announced that it will build a 50-home subdivision in San Antonio, where it also is building a plant. It’s the first U.S. housing venture for Toyota.
* More than 2.6 million people in this country hold real estate licenses, according to new 2005 figures from the Assn. of Real Estate License Law Officials in Montgomery, Ala.
