Update -- The Avengers will start Brian Mann at quarterback for the third consecutive game, but Coach Ed Hodgkiss said Ryan Van Dyke will play if Mann struggles against the Rampage. Mann has passed for 463 yards and seven touchdowns and has thrown an interception. Kevin Ingram leads the Avengers with 15 receptions for 258 yards (second in the Arena Football League). The Avengers lead the league in defense, giving up 192 yards a game. Former USC wideout Kareem Kelly (quadriceps) and lineman Silas Demary (broken fingers) were put on the injured list. The team activated wideout Tony Locke and lineman Jemelle Cage. Grand Rapids quarterback Jose Davis has passed for 458 yards and seven touchdowns and has thrown two interceptions. Aaron Bailey and Anthony Hines lead the Rampage in receiving with 12 catches each. Last year, Grand Rapids beat the Avengers, 71-65.
