With Stanford trailing midway through the second half, Candice Wiggins made a three-point basket to tie the score. Seconds later, she blocked a shot and got the rebound to set the stage for yet another victory over California.

Wiggins scored 19 of her 25 points in the second half and the No. 14 Cardinal (18-5, 12-2) survived its worst shooting game of the season to beat California, 55-46, Saturday in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Berkeley. It was the Cardinal’s 13th consecutive victory over the Bears (15-9, 7-7).

Stanford was held to its season-low in points while shooting 38.8%. The win was Tara Van Derveer’s 500th in her 20th year at Stanford, and 652nd overall.

No. 18 Brigham Young 55, Nevada Las Vegas 51 -- Ambrosia Anderson’s tiebreaking three-point basket with 23 seconds left lifted the visiting Cougars (20-2, 10-1 Mountain West) over the Rebels (13-8, 5-5).

No. 24 Louisiana Tech 88, Utah State 54 -- The Lady Techsters (18-4, 10-1 Western Athletic) held at least a 30-point lead over the visiting Aggies (2-18, 1-9) for the final 16 minutes. It was their 19th consecutive win at home.

No. 24 Texas A&M; 69, Nebraska 50 -- The visiting Aggies (19-5, 8-3 Big 12) jumped out to a 19-4 lead and cruised past the Cornhuskers (12-10, 4-7).
