High School Freshman Shoots Sophomore

A high school freshman armed with a handgun shot and wounded a sophomore at Roseburg High School and then walked to a restaurant, where customers watched as he stood outside and put the gun to his head, authorities said.
The 14-year-old surrendered when police confronted him.
Sophomore Joseph Monti, 16, was hospitalized with wounds to the chest and abdomen. He was shot four times, police said. They gave no motive for the shooting.
