Big West Conference

Long Beach State (13-11) at UC Davis (8-17), 2 -- Long Beach has rested a week since last Saturday’s 108-94 victory over Manhattan College. It was the third time this season the 49ers have scored 100 or more points. Davis has lost two straight, including Thursday against Irvine.

UC Riverside (4-20, 3-9) at UC Santa Barbara (12-12, 4-7), 2 -- Santa Barbara had been 10-0 when leading at halftime, but that streak ended with Thursday’s loss to Fullerton. Riverside shot 27.3% (three for 11) from the free-throw line in Thursday’s overtime loss to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Pacific (19-7, 9-2) at Cal State Northridge (10-14, 3-8), 3, FSN West 2 -- Pacific can clinch a tie for a third consecutive regular-season title today. Northridge is looking for respect after losing, 79-51, at Pacific on Wednesday.

Cal State Fullerton (13-11, 5-8) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (8-16, 6-5), 4 -- Fullerton could still finish fourth in conference and get a first-round bye. Cal Poly still has a shot to finish third but probably needs to win at least two of its remaining three games.

West Coast Conference

Pepperdine (7-17, 3-9) at St. Mary’s (14-11, 6-6), 7 -- Pepperdine hopes to halt a season-high five-game losing streak. St. Mary’s, locked in a three-way tie for third with San Diego and San Francisco, has won four straight.

Loyola Marymount (11-15, 8-4) at Santa Clara (10-15, 3-9), 8, FSN West 2 -- Despite back-to-back losses to Gonzaga and Portland, LMU has clinched second place. Santa Clara sophomore guard Brody Angley leads the conference in assists (5.25) and steals (2.42).

WOMEN

Pacific 10 Conference

UCLA (16-10, 11-6) at Oregon (14-13, 5-12), 3 -- Should the Bruins finish in a three-way tie for third, they will be seeded fifth and play Washington in the conference tournament quarterfinals. A win today is important for other reasons; finishing the season strong carries weight with the NCAA selection committee, and the Bruins need to bolster a 4-8 road record.

USC (17-9, 11-6) at Oregon State (12-13, 6-11), 7 -- The Trojans’ comeback win over Oregon on Thursday placed USC into a three-way tie for third in the Pac-10. A win today and the Trojans earn the third seeding for the conference tournament. Eshaya Murphy has scored in double figures 20 consecutive games.
