Expand Orange Line

Re “Orange Line Eases A.M. Rush on 101,” Dec. 30

The Times soft-pedals its own study’s results; 7% less traffic and 14% less congestion on the Ventura are remarkable.

Not mentioned is how much better it is for regular bus riders going in either direction. The Orange Line is comfortable, the stops are nice and it’s fast. It is also on time and frequent -- you don’t worry about connecting to it or from it.

Next, it’s time for a busway down Van Nuys Boulevard and the San Diego Freeway to LAX.
