Living large in Orange

I just read your excellent cover piece on Old Towne Orange and wanted to congratulate you for picking up on this timely story. It truly is an old town with new tricks [“Neighborhood on the Verge,” Jan. 5].

I walk my two German shepherds around the plaza every night. The first time, several years ago, they encountered the dog on your cover and went wild trying to figure it out.
