U.S. Sailor Indicted in Death of Woman

Japanese prosecutors indicted a U.S. sailor in connection with the death of a Japanese woman, Foreign Ministry officials said.
Japanese authorities believe that William Oliver Reese, 21, robbed and fatally beat the 53-year-old woman near a U.S. Navy base southwest of Tokyo on Jan. 3. He is in Japanese custody.
