Three Firefighters Hurt in Blaze at Station House
From Times Wire Reports
A blaze broke out at a firehouse in Coatesville, injuring three firefighters.
One firefighter was hospitalized after being injured when a ceiling light fell on him, said Dan Paulukinas, assistant fire chief. Two others were treated for heat exhaustion.
The fire burned in the third-floor banquet hall and storage area and was put out in less than an hour. The cause is being investigated, but an electrical problem is suspected, Paulukinas said. “A fire can happen anywhere,” he said.
