Former Deputy Admits Possessing Child Porn

A former Orange County sheriff’s deputy pleaded guilty Thursday to a federal charge of possessing child pornography, authorities said.
Patrick Francis Calcagno, 49, was charged with the felony after investigators discovered more than 600 images on his home computer in Murietta in 2004.
Calcagno faces a sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison.
The former deputy is among more than 1,200 people targeted worldwide after authorities dismantled a Belarus-based Internet pornography provider.
