Not just a nostalgia trip

It was 10 presidential administrations ago that Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young pointed their fingers, and electric guitars, toward the Nixon White House with their unequivocal antiwar stance in “Ohio.” Thirty-six years later, the foursome shows no signs of letting up. The on-again, off-again partnership kicked off its “Freedom of Speech ‘06” tour in Philadelphia, and while there’s certain to be a heavy nostalgia factor in the air when the quartet inevitably trots out such boomer classics as “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” and “Teach Your Children,” these Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members also come armed with the hot-off-the-presses currency of bristling material from Young’s latest album, “Living With War.”
