Fans can call up Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones plan to phone in their performance tonight in Paris.
A new Los Angeles-based venture called Listen Live Now will give Stones fans a chance to eavesdrop via phone on any seven minutes of the show for $1.99. Fourteen other Stones shows in Europe are posted on the company’s website, listenlivenow.com, where fans can also get information on the time and numbers to call.
Marty Erlichman, Barbra Streisand’s longtime manager, is a principal in the venture. He said Thursday that 20 other artists are close to signing up for the new concert-delivery concept, Streisand among them.
The feeds come directly from the soundboard. If fans call during an intermission, they will not be charged and will get a message instructing them to call back.
There was no word on whether fans would get a discount if they happened to dial in during the part of the Rolling Stones show when Keith Richards takes over the vocals.
