“THE location of this hotel is wonderful. It is two blocks from the end of the Rue Mouffetard market, and a Metro station is a four-block walk from the hotel. From the first visit, the staff remembered me and said, “Welcome back” on my second visit (two years later). Across the street is La Forge, which has good food and service.”

“I had a delightful experience in Zagreb, where a friend invited me to a meal at the restaurant Sorriso. It is perfect in every way: the elegant but cozy setting, the attentive service and the superb food, which is nouvelle cuisine of Mediterranean inspiration, refined and imaginative. The wine cellar offers top-quality Croatian wines and a choice from other countries.

The restaurant is centrally located, an easy walk from anywhere in the city. It is not cheap, but it is an excellent value.
