Council Votes to Oppose Proposed FBI Building

Citing the Westside’s notoriously bad traffic, the City Council voted unanimously Tuesday for a resolution opposing construction of an FBI building at Wilshire Boulevard and Veteran Avenue, the site of an existing federal building.
In a related action, the council voted to join a lawsuit brought by Los Angeles County to stop the federal government from auctioning 10 acres on the western portion of the Veterans Affairs grounds to developers.
