Drivers Face Toll Hikes of Up to 50 Cents
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Tolls will increase at least 25 cents on the San Joaquin Hills and Foothill/Eastern toll roads beginning July 3, and as much as 50 cents during peak hours for customers who pay cash.
The Transportation Corridor Agencies approved the rate hikes Thursday.
Cash customers can reduce their increase by switching to FasTrak, the electronic toll collection system that allows patrons to pay without stopping at tollbooths.
