A man found about 800 apparently genuine World Cup tickets in a plastic bag at a Frankfurt, Germany, tram stop Thursday.

The city’s transport authority said the finder brought the bag to its lost property office. They were then handed over to the German soccer federation.

“They seem to be genuine tickets,” said Jens Grittner, a spokesman for the World Cup organizing committee, although he added that was not yet certain.

Organizers were trying to determine where the tickets came from and which matches they were for.

Czech Republic midfielder Pavel Nedved pulled out of training after sustaining a possible knee injury in a collision with teammate David Rozehnal.

Czech doctors worked on Nedved’s left knee for 15 minutes and he then spent the rest of the second training session slowly running on the side of the field.

Nedved’s condition was not immediately clear. The Czechs play the U.S. on Monday.

“The knee hurts and that forced him to quit training,” Czech team physician Petr Krejci said. “We hope that it won’t be anything serious and he’ll be fit.”

Without speaking to reporters, Sanchez boarded a bus and headed for the Recinto de la Paz cemetery, where hundreds of friends, family members and personnel from Sanchez’s professional club, Chivas of Guadalajara, had gathered for funeral proceedings.

Felipe Sanchez died of a heart attack on Wednesday in Guadalajara. He and his family were preparing to travel to Germany for the World Cup.

Whether Oswaldo Sanchez will return for the World Cup opener was unclear.

Chivas officials said they could arrange a private plane to fly him back to Germany, but there was no word on whether Sanchez wants to head back that quickly.

Czech Republic Coach Karel Bruckner was disappointed with the team’s training field in Westerburg because nets behind both goals were not erected as promised.

“I was assured by many people that they would be there. It’s an essential thing for training,” Bruckner said.

Early in the training session, a net provided by the Czech team was erected behind one goal and team spokesman Lukas Tucek said that local officials promised to build the other one.
