Hamas Offers to Resume Cease-Fire With Israel

The Hamas-led Palestinian Authority government offered to restore a cease-fire with Israel, nearly a week after calling it off to protest a deadly blast in Gaza.
Israel responded favorably.
However, violence flared again when three Palestinian militants were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip border. The military said the three were with the small militant group Islamic Jihad and were trying to plant bombs.
