Put energy into finding alternative fuel sources
Re “Rival U.S. Labs in Arms Race to Build Safer Nuclear Bomb,” June 13
I was stunned that brilliant scientists are wasting their time on bomb designs when we so desperately need new energy sources to replace fossil fuels. We should be striving for energy independence and social stability. In our current circumstances, spending our intellectual wealth on a bomb is irrational.
