Maoist Rebels Will Join Interim Government

Maoist rebels, who have waged a decade-long war to seize control of Nepal, will join an interim government to be formed within weeks, the rebels’ leader said after a meeting with top officials of the nascent democratic government.
Rebel leader Prachanda said the interim government would be created within a month.
