Woman Arraigned in Lakewood Attack

A woman who allegedly broke into a Lakewood home last week and fatally stabbed a woman and wounded three of her relatives was charged Tuesday with murder and attempted murder.
Virginia Ann Krall, 22, is being held in lieu of $2.7-million bail, according to prosecutors. She is scheduled to be arraigned July 5.
Yolanda Meraz, 37, died of her wounds and three relatives, all women, also were stabbed but survived the attack, which occurred in the 4300 block of Quigley Avenue.
