ANDY LaROCHE, 3B

Las Vegas; triple A

LaRoche earned a promotion to Las Vegas on June 12 after playing 62 games for double-A Jacksonville. LaRoche left the Suns batting .309, ranking him fourth overall in the Southern League while leading the league in RBIs with 46. He was tied for first in runs (42) and ranked second in on-base percentage (.419). In his first week with the 51s, LaRoche has hit .333 with two home runs, and four RBIs, including a homer in his first plate appearance.

JOEL HANRAHAN, RHP

Las Vegas; triple A

Hanrahan earned a promotion from Jacksonville on June 18. With the Suns, he was 7-2 with a 2.58 ERA, striking out 67 in 66 1/3 innings. He was roughed up a bit in his first start with the 51s, giving up four runs in six innings. “Joel Hanrahan had two tough years in a row with injuries and arm issues,” Dodgers director of player development Terry Collins said when Hanrahan was promoted. “He has since battled back and worked very hard to get into shape and we’re happy with his progress.”
