Re “Salesman-in-Chief Promotes Medicare Drug Plan,” March 15

“It’s a good deal,” President Bush announced to seniors in Canadaigua, N.Y., as he strove to peddle the Medicare drug plan. As a member of Kaiser’s Senior Advantage Plan, those words don’t fit my reality. This year, my monthly premium increased by 45%; my prescription costs doubled and tripled. If I get any more good deals like this one, I’ll be filing for bankruptcy.
