Voice of ‘hate’ in groups’ stance

I was disturbed to read about Michelle Dallacroce and her group, Mothers Against Illegal Aliens (May 4). It is one thing to have an educated discussion, and quite another to have someone like Dallacroce liken the issue to genocide and rape.

She says her heart goes out to the mothers and fathers who risk their lives to give their children a better future, yet she drives around pointing out workers as if they are lurking demons. The reason these anti-illegal immigrant groups have such a hard time finding one voice may be because that voice is hate. Maybe Dallacroce should take a cue from that cross she wears around her neck and approach the situation with compassion. Or at least have a rational dialogue.
