Full In Seeks Claimer Win

Full In ran the best race of his career March 22 at Gulfstream Park, winning by 3 1/2 lengths as the 9-10 favorite in the $40,000 claimer at 1 1/16 miles on turf.

The 3-year-old Snuck In gelding will try for another victory today in his Hollywood Park debut and first start for trainer Doug O’Neill.

A winner in three of 16 races, Full In has six rivals in the $51,000 optional claimer at 1 1/16 miles as he debuts for O’Neill after winning for trainer Mike Mitchell in Florida.

Claimed for $40,000 on Feb. 5 at Gulfstream, Full In finished second, beaten by a head in his first for owner Landman Racing, then returned two weeks later for the rousing win.

Corey Nakatani will ride Full In, who has worked twice at Hollywood Park since arriving from Florida.

Hit It Skip, who scored in his turf debut April 21 at Santa Anita, will break from the rail and directly inside of Full In. The gray son of Skip Away won in his second start after being claimed for $40,000 by John Sadler for owners Dave and Herb Alpert.

Apprentice Juan Ochoa, who has been aboard for both of the colt’s wins, has the mount again this afternoon.

Wee Jinky, Plug Me In, Archon Star, Keagan and The Five J’s are also entered in the race.

Race of the day: Circle The World, who won at first asking for trainer Todd Pletcher on April 1 at Gulfstream Park, will try to repeat in his initial start against winners in the eighth race today at Churchill Downs.

Rafael Bejarano will ride the 3-year-old Fusaichi Pegasus colt for owner Michael Tabor in the $54,000 allowance at 7 1/2 furlongs.

One for the road: Resound finished in a dead heat for second in her U.S. debut April 8 at Gulfstream and can score with a clean trip in the seventh race today at Belmont Park.

Edgar Prado will be aboard the 4-year-old Selkirk filly for All In Racing and trainer Christophe Clement in the $45,000 allowance at six furlongs on the grass.

Exotically speaking: A late pick four using Lightning Hit and Zann in the fifth; Lucky Stab, Getback Time and Royal Cherry in the sixth; Full In and Hit It Skip in the seventh; and King For A Day, Silver Beach and Anatolian Star in the eighth.
