Body of Suspect Is Found

The body of a 32-year-old kidnapping suspect who allegedly fatally shot his wife was found Saturday in Rancho Cucamonga, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Sheriff’s deputies believe Travon Howard died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Howard allegedly kidnapped his wife, Natasha Howard, and her 18-month-old nephew from her mother’s home in San Bernardino on Friday afternoon.
Natasha Howard’s body was found in an abandoned vehicle in San Bernardino on Friday evening.
The child was not harmed.
