Terminal lateness at Paris airport

Share

ON my September trip to Malaga, Spain, I had to connect through Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris. Upon arrival, there was a bus waiting on the tarmac. I had 45 minutes to make my connection. The bus drove around the airport, even getting lost, until finally letting everyone off.

Once inside the airport, I had to run to the next terminal and go through security again. Unfortunately, I was not able to make my connecting flight in time. I was stuck in Paris for eight hours.

I finally made it to Malaga, but some of the luggage did not. I kept telling myself that the return could not be nearly as bad. It was worse. I had 50 minutes to make the connection, but I had to get on two buses this time.

Then there was the X-ray machine, the metal detector, as well as being searched twice the old-fashioned way before getting to the plane.

So, if you are flying through Paris, make sure you have at least two hours between flights.
