Wedding Dessert Had a Toxic Glow
Biochemical experts, firefighters and police were called to investigate a small pile of jello discarded beside a road after a wedding party in Germany.
“Passersby called police after finding a pool of a flabby red, orange and green substance,” a police spokesman in the eastern town of Halle said.
Fears of toxic waste led to the closure of a wide area Sunday, and experts wearing chemical warfare suits spent two hours examining the substance before identifying it.
A fire brigade spokesman said the bridegroom was located and agreed to clean up the mess.
